    Down Home Gardens Farmstand

Down Home Gardens is located in Monterey Township, on a homestead that dates back seven generations in our family. We are not certified organic but practice sustainable agriculture that enhances the soil by making use of crop rotation, cover cropping and companion planting. This produces high quality produce without the use of synthetic or chemical pesticides. The soils are amended with our own compost and all of the seeds that are planted are non-GMO as well as organic certified, most are heirloom varieties. The farm stand, located in the big red barn, is open June-October and is stocked with produce, free range eggs and honey from our hives.
